SALAMÉA 'SISI' PARRY-HANSEN
There is little doubt that the adage ‘born to dance’ applies to Sisi. She has been doing so since barely out of the womb! She’s been in staged productions waaaay before high school and since then she has performed in numerable dance reviews, plays and set-pieces. She was one of the principle Sweetpeas in the movie of the same name, the fairy dancer in The Magic Sword, both a solo cabaret and Can Can dancer at the 2006 New Year’s Eve Arts Ball, and choreographer and lead dancer of the Sassettes in 2007 Ball. In 2008 she played the Fairy ‘Planta’ in Novus Annus. Sisi has acted and danced or choreographed in a number of productions, including Twelve Angry Women, A Chorus Line, Chain of Fools, and the YES Program plays, Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, Bye Bye Birdie, Connecticut Yankee...to name but a few! Currently, she teaches dance for all ages at SASS! Studios in Fairfax.
