PAULO PRESOTTO
Paulo is a singer/performer from Piracicaba in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Involved in dancing from a very early age, he started singing with his first band back in his college years 1997—a Punk Rock project called VZERO. During that time he produced shows and also sang for another ‘Party’ band, TURANGA. Undecided about his future as a Mechanical Engineer, he dropped out of school and moved to California in search of better opportunities. In the Bay Area he got involved with a local Marin Band, THE VILE CONUNDRUM, who first won the EMERGENZA international ‘Battle of the Bands’ then went to represent San Francisco in the international finals in Germany 2006. During his stint with Vile Conundrum he met partner and composer Chris Peck, the Town Crier, and joined the band, THE CRYMUSCLES. They have been together for little over a year and have just produced their first album, LE CHRONIQUE (which may be freely download at the bands' website www.lechronique.net). Keeping up with his roots, Paulo is also part of a Brazilian Folk band, FORROFIANDO. He is also involved in the production side of show biz, working as a stagehand in some big productions such as Livenation, Another Planet and the Local UNIONS in the Bay Area. He is attending school to be an Audio Engineer.
